| THE DAIRY COTTAGE (sleeps up to 8) |
01983 821027 |
Situated in the heart of the island overlooking Carisbrooke and the beautiful Bowcombe valley. There are extensive walks from the
Tennyson trail. The Castle divides Froglands Farm from Newport which has many facilities, including a cinema, shops, swimming
centre etc and the main bus terminal. The village of Carisbrooke has several attractive restaurants and you can walk from the farm
through the Clatterfords should you wish to enjoy a drink with your meal! The beaches are never too far away and there is always
something to do or see at the many islands attractions.

Overall
It's a lovely cottage and well worth the expense of the new renovation. The
garden is rather small but there is a further garden space
with bushes and seats
etc which is well maintained.
The walks around the farm are absolutely idyllic and lead to the Castle, the
Tennyson Trail, the Downs and only twenty minutes walk
to Newport or Carisbrooke,
so throw the car keys in the pond!
At Froglands there is a low key antique furniture restoration business www.thecowshed.co.uk which warrants a visit, especially when it’s raining! (which it never does on the Island!!!)
